Life Update 2/8/20

So, it has been a year since I last wrote and quite a few changes have occurred in my life... Time for an update!

Over the last year or so Adam and I have been searching for a house... We finally found our forever home in Dyce earlier this year.. March to be exact! We now live in a 3 bedroom home in Dyce, it is a bungalow which is not something we thought we would ever buy however, we got here.

Mum has also just found a new house, she is moving with Bails and John to BANFF which was a surprise at first but the home looks lovely, she is right on the back of the beach with their own private lane down to the beach which will be great for Bails, they are due to move in 18th September so will see how that goes.

I have finally finished uni and have been finished since July last year really, I officially have a BA in Law and Management, I decided not to go for my honours as it was too much stress and I wanted to be able to move out and money was an issue with going through uni. Since then I have changed my job for an assistant manager to a Housing Administrator basically for the council however, that didn't last too long as the money was rubbish! Now, I am working with Robert Gordon University as the Timetabler for the Scott Sutherland School which is so weird considering the school is basically based on architecture and that kind of route, reminds me of the days I worked on the AWOR. I must admit though, I would go back to Dash Cabs (the taxi company) in a heart beat gibing I could work Monday to Friday and earn the money I am earning now but because it was a small company it doesn't seem to be happening for me. I still help them out from time to time which is great!

Dad and Lisa are still not married however, they have just gone back home after spending the long weekend at our house which they seemed to have loved but the best part of that whole weekend is after 7 years dad and Ross finally started speaking again which is fantastic. Oh, about Ross.. He will be in prison soon for drugs, yup... we all seen that one coming :(

I still have the girls - Rachel, Shannon and Amanda. We actually did our first girls holiday together in November, we went to Poland and it was honestly amazing. So much so that I am taking Adam for his birthday this year with Rachel and Morgan (Rachels partner, not sure if I have mentioned him before, he is cool and him and Adam get on great which is even better!)

2020 has been a bit of a weird year. I started my new job at RGU in March and a week later the whole world basically went into LOCKDOWN due to a Virus which we all thought would last a week... I am still working from home now and everyone is just starting to go back to normal. Lets hope there isn't a second wave! It is so weird to think that over nearly 5 months pretty much every business in the world stopped and we were made to stay in our homes and not go outside... Was lucky for us really, we go so much done with the house and made so many changes.

That's all for now folks :)
